Take a plunge from the top of a temple and emerge surrounded by sharks!

Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas is a tropical paradise. You can stay at the luxury resort, or if you’re on a cruise ship, you can take an excursion to Atlantis and buy a Day Pass to the waterpark. The hotel itself is majestic and features wall to wall aquariums full of tropical fish and sharks. The giant swimming pools are surrounded by beautiful palm trees. It is truly a sight to behold. However, the best thing about Atlantis is all the fantastic water slides and rides. Below, I’ll be ranking the Top Ten Waterslides at Atlantis from #10 to #1.

#10 The Challenger

This unique ride allows you to race against someone on the slide beside you. There are timers to see who wins! It’s like a mix of adrenaline and awesome views if you can keep your eyes open. This slide allows you to reach speeds up to 35-60 mph, depending on your weight and how you position yourself.

#9 The Jungle Slide

The Jungle slide is an awesome adventure! It’s part of the Aqua venture waterpark and is designed to give you the feeling of whizzing through a lush, tropical landscape. You’ll twist and turn through the “jungle” before splashing down into the pool. Families love this slide because it has just the right amount of excitement without being too extreme. This slide is a lot calmer compared to the challenger, so it’s perfect if you’re looking something a bit more chill but still super fun.

#8 Serpent Slide

This is a super fun ride. It’s a multi-person tube slide that twists and turns like a serpent slithering through the water. You and your friends can hop on a tube together and get ready for an exhilarating adventure. As you slide down, you’ll encounter sharp turns and drops that will make your heart race. After being in mostly total darkness you pop out into an aquarium of sharks, where you get to float by and enjoy the scenery.

#7 The Surge

This is a wild ride! It’s a high speed water slide that will have you screaming with excitement from start to finish. The Surge slide features twists, turns, and unexpected drops that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The water rushes around you makig you feel like you’re flying through a water tornado! The best part is the grand finale. At the end of the slide, you’ll be propelled into a massive splash pool, creating a huge wave of excitement and laughter.

#6 The Drop

This slide is for people who love thrills! It’s a vertical plunge slide that will make your stomach drop and your adrenaline soar. When you go down the slide you’ll experience an intense free fall as you plummet straight down at lightning speed. As you zoom down, the rush of wind in your face and the feeling of weightlessness will leave you breathless. Just when you think it’s over, the slide levels out and sends you skimming across the water, creating a big splash at the end!

#5 The Falls

The falls is an absolute blast! It’s a water coaster that combines the thrill of a roller coaster with the excitment of a water slide. Heres how it goes down: you hop into a raft with your friends, and the ride takes you down a wild journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected drops. You’ll zoom through, tunnels, surge down deep slopes, and even experience moments of weightlessness as you catch some air. The best part is the water element. you’ll get splashed, soaked, and drenched as you navigate through the water. It’s the perfect way to cool off on a hot day and have a lot of fun at the same time!

#4 Ambassador Lagoon

The Ambassador Lagoon is one of the largest open air-air marine habitats in the world. As you enter, you’ll be surrounded by a massive glass panel that stretches from the floor all the way up to the ceiling. It’s truly a breathtaking sight! Inside the aquarium you’ll find a vibrant and diverse array of marine life. there are over 65,000 marine animals from more than 250 species, including majestic rays, graceful sharks, and colorful tropical fish. It’s like being immersed in a living, underwater tapestry. Not only can you observe the marine life, but you can also participate in interactive experiences like feeding the fish or even diving with the sharks! So, when you walk into Atlantis, make sure to take the time to explore the stunning aquarium. It’s a true marvel of nature that will leave you in awe of the underwater world!

#3 Rapids River
Many of you have probably floated around a lazy river at various waterparks, but there is nothing lazy about Rapids River at Atlantis! Rapids River is a mile long water ride with lots of ebbs and flows. Sometimes it’s a leisurely float and at other times it’s raging rapids and actually kind of dangerous. The Lazy River section is easy going and full of beautiful scenic views. It goes on for about a quarter of a mile. But then you run into escalators and lots of surprises. The rapids get really crazy and a few times you’ll be hanging on for dear life! I absolutely love this ride, and it’s easily the best “lazy river” or “river rapids type ride I’ve ever been on. I highly recommend it.

#2 The Abyss

This slide is absolutely mind blowing! It’s a plunge into the unknown! Picture this: you take a deep breath, feel the rush of excitement, and then you’re off! You zoom through this dark, twisitng slide, not knowing whats waiting for you around each corner. But heres the best part: as you near the end, the floor drops out beneath you, and you feel the free-fall into a clear tube that takes you through a lagoon filled with sharks and other fascinating marine life. This slide is not for the faint of heart, but if you’re up for the challenge and love thrills this slide is perfect for you!

#1 Leap of faith

The Leap of Faith is absolutely insane! It’s the ultimate adrenaline rush. Imagine standing at the top of a towering mayan Temple, looking down at a nearly vertical drop. You take a deep breath, summon all your courage, and then WHOOSH! You slide down at an incredible speed, almost like your defying gravity! As you zoom through a clear tunnel, you’ll see sharks swimming around you in a massive aquarium. It’s a heart-pounding experience that will make your jaw drop!
